Google Public Sector's Software Engineering and Technology team is a group of engineers dedicated to helping organizations leverage the power of Google Cloud technologies. We build products that provide automation, repeatable patterns, and intelligent insights through advanced data analytics and Generative AI. The team believes a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all, and strive to create opportunities for everyone through innovative technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and build front-ends and back-ends for greenfield projects.
• Work with Google Public Sector (GPS) Sovereign Engineering and Google Distribute Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points, and propose solutions and improvements.
• Participate in and lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders, and exercise technical judgment (e.g., deciding between available technologies).
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
