About The Job

As a Learning and Growth Intern, you will work closely with the Learning and Growth Administrator to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning experiences across the company. You will contribute to initiatives that strengthen how learning is developed, delivered, and embedded into the employee experience. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to the full lifecycle of learning and development. You will support instructional design efforts, contribute to professional development and career growth programs, and assist in bringing learning initiatives from concept through execution.
Requirements
Responsibilities
As a Learning and Growth Intern, you will support a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to:
Training Development & Instructional Design
- Assist in the design, development, and update of training materials
- Research learning trends and best practices to enhance training content
- Support onboarding experiences and contribute ideas to enhance learning engagement
- Help organize content to support skills mapping and career pathways
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of learning initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams
- Track participation, engagement, and basic program metrics
- Gather and incorporate feedback to improve programs and materials
- Assist in coordinating and tracking required training programs, including compliance-related courses
- Support administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, assignments, updates, and completion tracking
- Prepare communications and reminders related to required training
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or master's degree in training and development, human resources, education, instructional design, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Initiative, accountability, and follow-through
- Comfort with receiving and applying feedback, as well as having work reviewed for quality control
- Creative thinking and willingness to contribute new ideas and approaches to learning
- Basic project coordination or project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Exposure to e-learning tools or platforms (e.g., Articulate 360, LMS platforms, or similar tools) is a plus
Hourly compensation ranges from $24 to $30 per hour, available for both part-time and full-time during the spring/summer. Interns are eligible for company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance. If a holiday falls during your internship, you will be paid for the holiday. Additionally, sick leave will be provided in accordance with state law, if applicable.
