Summer Internship 2026 - Office of the CEO Intern – Business Strategy & AI Enablement
The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.
Advantage Solutions is hiring for our 2026 Summer Internship Program. This individual will be with us for 10 weeks (June 1st- August 7th, 2026) Internships provide students with challenging, relevant work experience in their field of interest as well as introduce them to additional career opportunities. Internships may lead to future opportunities within the Company, although there are no guarantees for full-time employment. We are seeking and enthusiastic intern to join our team and provide invaluable support to various business areas that include but not limited to:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Communications
- Branded Services
Position Summary
The Office of the CEO Intern will provide day‑to‑day and project‑based support on enterprise‑level initiatives, business challenges, and strategic priorities. This role is designed for a highly collaborative, analytical, and curious student who is interested in how large organizations solve complex problems and explore the business application of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This role does not require programming or technical development skills. Instead, the intern will focus on research, analysis, process improvement, business insights, and AI‑enabled use cases that support executive decision‑making and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist with enterprise and CEO‑sponsored projects aligned to strategic business priorities
- Analyze business problems and synthesize insights into clear, executive‑ready summaries and presentations
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather inputs, assess opportunities, and align recommendations
- Support initiatives exploring AI‑enabled business solutions, focusing on use cases, process improvement, and decision support (non‑technical)
- Assist in developing reports, dashboards, or analytics to support leadership discussions
- Audit and review project deliverables and documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Contribute to initiatives focused on operational efficiency, innovation, and scalability
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

Internship Criteria:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Applicants must be attending any accredited four-year degree-granting institution or an accredited Graduate Master's or MBA program, in the United States
- Applicants must be rising juniors, rising seniors, or working toward a graduate degree.
- Applicants must be working towards a Business, Business related, or IT major. Some applicable majors are (not an exhaustive list):
- Finance
- Sales
- Management
- Marketing
- Communications
- Business Administration
- Applicants need to have a minimum 3.0 GPA
The salary range for this role is $20.00 per hour

Travel and/or Driving Requirements
- Travel to St. Louis is required for two specific weeks:
- Kickoff Week: The week of June 1st
- Closing Week: The week of August 3rd
- Transportation and lodging for these trips will be provided by Advantage Solutions.

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
