Job Overview

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights and clear visualizations that support business decision-making. The successful candidate will analyze datasets, identify trends and patterns, develop dashboards and reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret structured and unstructured data.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and interactive data visualizations.
• Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.
• Create charts, graphs, and other visual representations of complex datasets.
• Work with business teams to understand analytical requirements and objectives.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with statistical analysis and predictive modeling when required.
• Develop and maintain data dashboards using visualization tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable business insights.
• Support data-driven decision-making across different departments.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business teams.
• Document analytical processes, methodologies, and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, or data visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or similar analytical tools.
• Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Understanding of basic statistics and data analysis concepts.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building interactive dashboards and data visualization reports.
• Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics concepts.
• Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms is a plus.
• Strong portfolio of academic, personal, or professional data projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
