We are the Alibaba Cloud IDC Americas Cluster Operations Team, a critical component of Alibaba Cloud's global infrastructure strategy. Our mission is to ensure the highly efficient, stable, and secure operation of data centers across the Americas. We are dedicated to delivering `last mile customer value` from our data centers, providing a seamless, reliable, and highly efficient cloud service experience.

Our team comprises dedicated professionals in Facilities, IT, and Asset Management, possessing comprehensive capabilities from daily operations to strategic planning:

Facilities Team: Responsible for 24x7 uninterrupted operation and emergency response of critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, HVAC, and fire suppression systems. We ensure physical environment stability and green operations through rigorous capacity management and energy efficiency optimization.

IT Team: Manages the full lifecycle operations of IT equipment like servers and networks. We ensure high SLA compliance for IT services through proactive systemic risk governance, automation, and process optimization, while leading various technology upgrade projects.

Asset Team: Oversees the full lifecycle management and governance of IT assets. We ensure asset compliance, visibility, and efficient utilization through precise data management, risk control, and cost-efficiency strategies.

Job Description:

1. Participate in daily operations, deployment, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, etc.) in Americas data centers, ensuring stable equipment operation.

2. Execute operational tasks according to SOPs, promptly record operation logs, and assist with IT asset management.

3. Assist with capacity management and performance monitoring, and participate in security and compliance audits.

4. Actively learn new technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing and accumulation.

5. Respond quickly and support fault resolution in emergency situations.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $82,800 and $136,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
